ONDE 300 Yacht

Overview: The ONDE 300 yacht was created by the Italian designer as a 92-metre (300-foot) luxury megayacht. But he also took the time to conceive a Coast Guard version complete with weaponry, helicopters and hovercraft.

The ONDA 300, which translates as WAVE 300 in Italian, was clearly inspired by the rolling curve of a wave. Its impressive feature line rises out of the bow of the ship, runs to 3/4 the height of the vessel and then trails back down to end at the stern. The line of the upper deck mimics this line and together they provide a fairly unique appearance.

Specifications: – Max length : 92.84 m
– Max width : 16.87 m
– Water line height : 13.65 m
– Max draft : 6.62 m
– Gross tonnage : 1300 t
– N° deck : 5 (3 + 2)
– Owner+Guest : 12
– Captain and crew : 29
– Tender : 2 x 10 m + 1 x 11 m

Nintendo 3DS Concept

Overview: Olivier Demangel is basically a 3D artist and his take on Nintendo is really awesome. What’s missing in the real-world version is screen real estate and this concept takes care of that. Over the years many designers have had their take on this game console, but thus far I like this the best. So what do you think…do we need a Nintendo DS redesign or are you happy with what you got?

iPhone Pro Concept

Overview: Simply love this version of the iPhone 6, it has so much substance to it, and as designer Michael Muyunda puts its, this is a pro version that is conceptualized to release alongside the iPhone 6. It is a version meant for developers and power users and is based on technology that should be available between now and the near future. This concept sees the use of a centered more square battery because the regular iPhone layout will not work with the back ‘windows’ layout.

  • This concept shows a practical way to run a desktop OS on a mobile phone. Everything unnecessary such as the system UI and desktop has been removed.
  • The sidebar is used to search all desktop apps.
  • When a desktop app is opened, Linux is virtually booted and the rest are ready to use.
  • When you press ‘Close all’, Linux is shutdown.
  • One of the main problems with a desktop OS is the UI size and this can be easily fixed with a smart zoom feature.
  • When your finger is hovered close to the screen a zoomed area will appear so you can easily get work done easily.
  • The dock recognizes the iPhone via NFC and wirelessly streams the display over Wi-Fi to any apple device.
  • The device will also include a HDMI dongle, which can be plugged into any HDMI display much like the chromecast.
  • The USB ports can be used to fully convert your phone into a PC by connecting peripherals such as keyboard and mice or you could use Bluetooth.

Michael Muyunda also has a campaign live here, check it out.
