Overview: This is a home surrounded by a vast garden that converges at a colossal pre-war rain tree with such magnificence that its presence is ingrained within the very architecture of the house itself. Throughout this home are numerous encounters with nature whilst still being very much indoors. The architectural placement of the building allows for the viewing of the feature tree from all of the main spaces, from either of its two storeys right down to the basement.

Overview: NewspaperWood is manufactured from recycled newspapers each textured ring being not a year of a trees growth but a page of the day’s newspaper.
In 2014 Peugeot Design Lab printed 20,000 newspapers for their Milan Design Week show, at the end of the week the 3 000 remaining newspapers were recycled into a block of NewspaperWood, the waste of the 2014 show thus became a primary material in the creation of the products for the 2015 show.
The Peugeot Design Lab NewspaperWood envelops a rich copper shade that is connected to a sculpted white porcelain prototype lamp.
