Vufin – A Handsfree Wearable Display

Rate This Concept Now!

Overview: People carry around so much technology every day and it’s only getting more powerful. However, as useful as technology can be, there will always be a need to interface with information while your hands do the real work. This technology is smart enough, you just need new ways to experience it.

Vufine is a wearable display, not a computer, so there is no camera, no operating system and no confusing user interfaces to learn. Because the focus is on the display, the resolution is superior to similar devices like Google Glass or Recon Jet. Boasting a 720p high-definition display, the picture quality is crisp enough to read text and enjoy videos. Vufine allows you to experience real-life picture-in-picture with your favorite applications!

Vufine can connect to anything capable of outputting a 720p HDMI signal using a special, thin HDMI cable so you can plug in and go without worrying about latency issues or a rapidly draining battery. It attaches to a wide variety of user glasses with a magnetic docking station for added adjustability and stability. Plus, it makes it incredibly simple to put on and take off so that you can easily pocket it when not in use.

Vufine facilitates your favorite activities as an extension of your technology, not some overreaching replacement. So free up your hands and take full advantage of the technology you already own — plug in and get out there!

Overview: Are you one of those people who hates touching the faucet after you’ve washed your hands? Mind you, it’s a little OCD, but totally makes sense consider those handles are riddled with germs! The Timing Tap was designed for you. Unlike older models of push-button timed taps, this design’s digital display allows you to set the running duration  and even gives you a countdown of how long you have left to get rinsed. It’s cleaner, water-saving genius!
