Overview: The ultra-long range Gulfstream G550 gets a seamless interior makeover to enhance the in-flight experience for both passenger and pilot. The leather clad cockpit features ergonomic manual controls and seating as well as the latest in light avionic technology. Passenger areas are spacious and bright, complemented by Gulfstream’s signature oval windows. iPad integration allow users to control all aspects of the cabin including climate, entertainment, and even lighting. Overview: On a flight from London to Chicago, I was very happy to note that my Business Class seat had a USB charging station. As soon as I hooked up my dying phone for some juice, the airhostess came to admonish me, saying that we were not ‘allowed’ to charge phones, the hook up was available only for multimedia purposes. Blah! Concepts like the Solar Eclipse are innovations that the airline industry could use. Give us charging ports people! We have Wi-Fi and Internet connections made available … so take the next step!

Overview: Designed as a promotional tool for companies, the SUKK resting cabin gives airport passengers a place to kick back before or between their flights. What’s the catch? To enter, users must have a promotional code provided by the advertiser. Once inside they’ll enjoy the creature comfort like WiFi, a secure luggage locker, lighting, electricity outlets and real-time departure information.
