Overview: The knife comes in freeze block slot and thus gives the illusion that it is celui- thereof which cut the wooden object , wood visually loses its density approaching that of the bun . The slit reveals the heart , hence the name of the object KALON which means heart in Breton. The object is a square base to enhance the illusion of a cut block. This knife holder is designed to amuse the customer by his unconventional and illogical shape while remaining sober and mingling perfectly with modern kitchens while adding a poetry tip . It is also a call to move toward arts and crafts rather than industry, to break the conventions as it breaks the white block and reconnecting with nature.
